Tournaments

Group related Kunjani games, add games from either direction, and track participation and performance across a shared tournament dashboard.

A Tournament is an optional group of related Games. If a Game is one delivery of a Deck, a Tournament is a collection of those Games.

Use a Tournament as both:

  • A filing system that keeps related Games together in the Games list.
  • A shared dashboard for tracking participation and performance across those Games.

Each Game still keeps its own participants, leaderboard, assessments, and reports. The Tournament adds a combined view across the Games linked to it.

Create a Tournament from the Games page

1. Open the Tournament form

Select Games in the left navigation. Open Create at the top right, then select New tournament.

Create menu with New tournament highlighted.

2. Name the Tournament and choose existing Games

Enter a clear Tournament name. In Games, select the existing Games that should be grouped in the Tournament.

New Tournament form with the tournament name and existing Games selector highlighted.

You can leave the Games selector empty and add Games later through their Advanced settings.

3. Choose who can manage the Tournament

Under Users, select any colleagues who should be able to access the Tournament dashboard without a PIN and edit the Games associated with it. Your own user is added automatically.

4. Save the Tournament

Select Save. The Tournament appears under Tournaments in the Games list, with its linked Games nested beneath it.

Add a Game from its Advanced settings

You can also assign a Game to a Tournament while creating the Game or when editing an existing one.

  1. Start a new Game, or select an existing Game and open Edit.
  2. Select Advanced settings.
  3. Under Include in tournaments, select one or more existing Tournaments.
  4. Select Create Game or Update Game to save the assignment.

Advanced settings with Include in tournaments highlighted.

Use the shared Tournament dashboard

Expand Tournaments in the Games list, open the Tournament, then select Dashboard.

The dashboard combines information from the linked Games so you can monitor overall participation, responses, average scores, and team or participant performance in one place. You can still open each Game underneath the Tournament when you need its individual leaderboard, assessments, or report.

For the other controls available when creating or editing a Game, see Advanced settings.
