Advanced settings

Configure scheduling, automatic invitations, co-facilitators, AI assessment rules, leaderboards, plagiarism checks, and WhatsApp options for a Kunjani game.

Use Advanced settings when a game needs scheduled delivery, automatic follow-up invitations, additional facilitators, stricter assessment rules, or changes to its WhatsApp experience.

Open Advanced settings

  1. Select Games in the left navigation.
  2. Select the game you want to configure.
  3. Open Edit.
  4. Expand the settings navigation and select Advanced settings.

The Advanced settings tab with scheduling, tournament, facilitator, and language controls highlighted.

Schedule a self-paced game

Use Schedule start time when a follow-up game should launch automatically at a specific date and time. When the scheduled time arrives, Kunjani notifies the selected attendees on WhatsApp.

Invite attendees from previous games

Use Invite and notify attendees from to select one or more existing games. Everyone who attended those games will receive the new game's WhatsApp invitation at the scheduled start time.

This is useful for a learning sequence in which a live workshop is followed by one or more self-paced reinforcement games.

Use Include in tournaments to group related games. A tournament keeps the Games list organised and gives the related games a shared reporting and dashboard context.

Add co-facilitators

In Facilitators, select colleagues who should be able to find and facilitate the game. Selected facilitators can access the game from their own Games list.

Choose the interface language

Set Preferred interface language to match the language used in the deck. The current options are English, French, Dutch, and Portuguese (Brazil).

Configure dice rolls

Enable Send dice roll animations when participants should see the dice animation in WhatsApp.

  • For a self-paced game, the animation gives each participant the complete experience in WhatsApp.
  • For a live game with a shared screen, leave it off when the projected dice roll is sufficient and you want to reduce duplicate media.

Configure AI assessments

Leave Score answers with AI enabled when Kunjani should assess answers and provide feedback.

Choose the attempt rule that fits the activity:

  • One attempt only is suitable for a baseline or formal assessment.
  • Allow one retry lets a participant improve the answer after receiving feedback.

Use Minimum passing score to prevent participants from progressing until the AI score reaches the selected level. Choose from Beginner, Developing, Competent, Master, or Teacher. Leave it at None when progression should not depend on a minimum score.

Dice roll, AI assessment, passing score, leaderboard, and plagiarism controls highlighted.

Sort the leaderboard

Set separate sort orders for teams and participants:

  • By Score places the highest score first.
  • By Name sorts alphabetically.
  • By Order Added preserves the order in which entries were added.

Check for similar answers

Enable Flag similar answers to mark responses that appear to copy another participant or generated text. The default Similarity threshold is 100 and is suitable for most games.

Review flagged responses from the leaderboard or assessment view. A flag is a prompt for facilitator review, not a final judgement about the participant.

Configure WhatsApp options

  • Enable WhatsApp access allows participants to play through WhatsApp.
  • Use shared QR codes is intended for Microsoft Teams workflows that require shared or anonymous QR-code access.
  • Cache answer media stores participant image, voice, and video answers in Kunjani when you need access beyond WhatsApp's normal media availability. Enable it for evidence or records that must remain available.
